COSCO (New Zealand) Limited was established in 1991 as the sole agent of COSCO in New Zealand. Its business scope covers on-site management for COSCO vessels, marketing, management of container equipment and arrangement of port operations, etc.
COSCO's Japan - Korea - Hong Kong - New Zealand line calls directly at Auckland, Lyttelton, Port Chalmers,Wellington, Nelson, Napier and Tauranga in New Zealand. Six container vessels are deployed in providing fixed-day weekly service. Through the COSCO network in Hong Kong and Japan, cargoes from New Zealand are shipped worldwide.
