With a number of experienced engineering superintendents, COSCO Oceania Marine Services Pty Ltd provides technical services to Chinese vessels that call into ports in the Oceania region. The head office is located in Fremantle, with superintendents in Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane and Lyttelton in New Zealand. It provides 24 hour service to ensure minimum delays to a ship's schedule.

With the owner's authorisation, it can carry out technical management of the ship's repairs, docking and navigation communication repairs. The company supplies and delivers spare parts for the ship and also its stores, including safety equipment, deck / engine stores, charts and publications.

At the owner's request, the superintendents assist vessels to pass Australian and New Zealand Port State Control Inspections, to pass cargo hold surveys, and to arrange ship's documents.
